However, we are focusing on our subject: the Corvette C6. Just one sits at the bottom of the hall, in inconspicuous white, apparently with standard upholstery. If the sun is shining, we let it warm on our faces, if not, we enjoy the 634 liter boot. Its everyday suitability combined with its super sporty spirit has always been the Corvette's greatest trump card. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 306 km/h. As for the suspension, it's always amazing how the C6, with its leaf springs, can compete with the modern suspensions of the European competition. We notice the flaws only on long bumps.

Basically hassle-free and relatively cheap
Technically, the C6 is considered robust – around 30 percent of the parts were identical to those of the C5 when the model changed. Since 2006 the much more advanced six-speed automatic is available, and from 2008 The LS3 has a 6.2 liter engine and 436 hp. While the platform was upgraded with the C5, the C6 received significantly more tech – which has the potential to break down over the years.
