Dacia Jogger gets the Nissan emblem

The budget station wagon could be very attractive to customers in the Indian market. We reveal the first information about the Nissan Jogger magazin de piese auto online.

Dacia Jogger gets the Nissan emblem

The long-standing cooperation between Renault and Nissan is reflected in several model series. For example, the Nissan Townstar is simply a Renault Kangoo with a different name. The new Renault 5 will also be sold with minor changes as the Nissan Micra, and the next Renault Twingo, planned for 2026, will also be available with the Japanese brand's badge.

But Dacia's cheaper models are also becoming increasingly attractive to Nissan. Derivatives of the Romanian bestseller Duster and the new Bigster are already preparing to attack the Indian market - so it makes perfect sense that a Jogger derivative would also appear.

Practical qualities make the Jogger ideal for India

According to media reports, the nearly 4.55-meter-long low-cost station wagon, resembling a van due to its high roof, could find many customers in India.

And it's not just the Jogger's seven seats. The simple and fairly robust engineering, as well as the pleasantly tuned suspension and economical engine, also make this affordable car ideal for the large developing country with a population of 1.45 billion.

The Nissan-branded Dacia Duster and Dacia Bigster for the Indian market are due to arrive next year, and Nissan's version of the Dacia Jogger - whatever it's called - will likely be launched a little later.
