Retrospective: BMW xDrive Days in Bansko

Kamor Auto, the importer of BMW and MINI for Bulgaria, organized an exclusive test drive of all BMW cars equipped with the intelligent four-wheel drive system - xDrive. The event took place in the winter resort of Bansko on January 27-29, 2006.

During the event, representatives of the Bulgarian media attended a presentation of the dynamic capabilities of the BMW-xDrive system, after which they personally saw its capabilities when traveling on snow and ice. The demonstration was conducted by professional instructors Michael Kaspers and Stefan Schimpf, who arrived especially for the event from the BMW AG headquarters in Germany. The instructors introduced the participants to the inherent dynamics of BMW and the stable and safe behavior of the car on any road surface thanks to the xDrive four-wheel drive system. The power distribution tailored to the road situation and the typical BMW rear-wheel drive on dry surfaces create a sense of sporty spirit in the driver, and when conditions required increased attention on snowy terrain, the participants felt the additional control of the four-wheel drive system.
