Toyota will show two cool off-road concepts at SEMA 2024
The Land Cruiser and 4Runner are roofless – and they look fantasti piese auto Toyota online.
In typical Toyota fashion, the brand will make a memorable appearance at this year's SEMA show. The concern has prepared two fantastic-looking cars for Las Vegas - the Land Cruiser Cabriolet and a two-door version of the 4Runner - we guess that won't be all at this show.
Calty Design have developed the open Land Cruiser Rox. The firm that modified the current GR Supra and other Toyota models has removed the Land Cruiser's two rear roof pillars and replaced the current one with a removable roof. Specialists have taken care of the additional strength of the model due to the missing parts. Otherwise, the special Land Cruiser features half-doors, wider fenders, off-road tires, a light strip, and rustic upgrades like steel bumpers and reinforced underbody protection. The model even has a functional half-opening tailgate with a spare wheel.
As for the 4Runner, Toyota is taking it back to Southern California beach culture of the 1980s with the TRD Surf retro concept. At the same time, the basic concept is reminiscent of Marty McFly's 1985 Toyota SR5 Xtra Cab, which he drove in the movie Back to the Future.
The 2024 pickup concept, based on the 4Runner, is missing the rear doors and the second half of the roof, instead offering an open cab with a rollbar and space for surfboards. It has two-tone ocean paint with turquoise accents, off-road wheels and tires, and a slightly lifted suspension.
Under the hood, the 4Runner Concept features the standard 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 282 horsepower and 430 newton meters of torque, but is equipped with a special exhaust system that gives it a more bassy sound. The engine is combined with the same eight-speed automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel drive.
The Land Cruiser Rox and 4Runner TRD Surf will be on display at the Toyota booth when the SEMA doors open on Tuesday, November 5 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The exhibition continues until November 8.
