700 km mileage for the new electric Peugeot E-3008
More than ever before, the E-3008 and E-5008 take flexibility, electric performance and driving pleasure to even higher levels. Thanks to the battery made in France and a homologated mileage of up to 700 km for the E3008 and up to 668 km for the E-5008, the two models become the best in the SUV class in terms of these indicators. In practice, the PEUGEOT E-3008 Electric 230 Long Range's 700km range allows it to get from Paris to Nice in just two stops, compared to at least three for all its competitors. For the Long-Range versions, PEUGEOT introduces a 230 hp/170 kW drive with a high-capacity battery offering up to 700 km (E-3008) or 668 km (E-5008) of range in the combined WLTP cycle. This new powertrain joins the current 210 hp/157 kW E-3008 and E-5008 lineup, offering up to 527 km (E-3008) or 502 km (E-5008) of range. With this new version, the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 210 and 230 Long Range will also offer a new battery pre-heating/cooling system allowing optimized charging times during long journeys. Manufactured in Sochaux and equipped with batteries manufactured in the ACC gigafactory in Douvrin, the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Long-Range exemplify French technical excellence. The efficient design of the STLA Medium "BEV-by-design" platform allows a greater amount of energy to be stored in a battery that is only 15 mm thicker than the current one, while preserving the cabin and boot space familiar from the PEUGEOT E- 3008 and E-5008 with 210 hp. and the hybrid and plug-in hybrid drive.
The new E-3008, which broke the mold with its fastback SUV design and the driving pleasure of the Panoramic i-Cockpit, sets a new standard by offering the best electric range in its segment. Thanks to the efficiency of the 230 hp/170 kW drive and its new battery with a usable capacity of 96.9 kWh, the E-3008 Electric 230 Long Range travels up to 700 km without recharging (WLTP combined cycle). The PEUGEOT E-3008 230 Long Range also makes improvements in charging times, providing up to 160 kW of charging power and needing only 27 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%, (150 km in 10 minutes).
