The Chevrolet Corvette C8 is available in the States as early as 2020, but in Europe, customers will have to be patient until the end of 2021. It is therefore interesting that the German tuning specialists NAP are now offering tuning parts for the model. For example, an exhaust system with stainless steel flaps and carbon body parts. Thus, the acceleration and maximum speed of the 495 hp "American" will be improved.
The maximum speed will increase by 9 km/h
The V8-atmospheric unit with a working volume of 6.2 liters is not quiet in its serial version either. Through a stainless steel exhaust system with controllable flaps, NAP have given the unit even more volume. Instead of rectangular tailpipes, two pairs of round ones now emerge from the rear bumper. They are either ceramic or carbon coated. The body parts included in the aerodynamic package are also made of the latter material. It includes air vents in the front and rear fenders, side skirts, front and rear spoiler. These elements improve the dynamic characteristics: the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is taken instead of 8.9 in 8.2 seconds, and the maximum speed is increased from 312 to 321 km/h. NAP gives information about the tuning price only upon request. Corvette C8 will start in Germany from about BGN 200,000.
