Skoda presented the most powerful Fabia in a limited "rally" version

Sporty look for the Fabia: inspired by the racing RS Rally2, Skoda launched a special version of the Fabia – bright green, with 40 hp. more powerful, with four-wheel drive and lower suspension. Sounds great, but…unfortunately there is a catch piese online auto.

Skoda presented the most powerful Fabia in a limited "rally" version

Fabia leads a double life. And in its fourth generation, the practical small car is a hero for the everyday life of its owners, perfectly playing the role of a vehicle for the city, for example. At the same time, the Czechs also offer the Fabia RS Rally2. The rally version with its own chassis, four-wheel drive and 289 hp. (the rules don't allow more) is the best-selling car in its class, which - what a surprise - is called "Rally 2". Now Skoda combines the best of both worlds in a special model – Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition by Cohete Suárez.

Named after a factory pilo Set lant de distributie Ruville.

The modification is named after Skoda factory pilot Jose Antonio "Cohete" (Bulgarian: "rocket") Suarez and is as close as possible to his official RS Rally2. Let's start with the color: the special model shines in a poisonous green called "Mamba Green". It also has a black spoiler on the tailgate, and we find mudguards on the rear apron.

Naturally, the wheels are no accident: Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires are mounted on black 17-inch OZ Superturismo WRC rims. In addition, the sports suspension reduces the height of the car by 15 millimeters. In the interior, we are greeted by black sports seats and a sports steering wheel with paddle shifters.

The most powerful production Fabia

But the Fabia Rally2 special model has more than just an attractive look. At the moment, this is the most powerful serial modification of the small car. With the help of Abt, the 1.5-liter TSI receives a significant increase in power and torque: respectively by 40 hp. and 40 Nm. That makes a total of 190 hp. and 290 Nm. Unfortunately, there is no manual gearbox available like the regular Fabia with this engine, only a 7-speed DSG. All four wheels are driven, as befits a rally-inspired model.

The only catch

Skoda Fabia Rally2 Limited Edition by Cohete Suárez is limited to 100 units and costs 30,900 euros (approx. BGN 62,000). Unfortunately, however, there is one catch: the modification will only be sold in Spain!

Conclusion

It is a pity that Skoda wants to sell the "rally" modification only in Spain. This factory-tuned Fabia, both visually and power-wise, would certainly be well received in other countries. Especially in view of the fact that there is no current generation RS model (yet).
