Aion V - the Chinese people's car
The 4.61-meter-long competitor to the VW ID.4 or Renault Scenic goes by the somewhat odd name “Aion V” and looks just as unremarkable. It has something of the muscular look of the Mercedes EQB and the Scandinavian simplicity of the Volvo XC40 – but nothing that stands out against the mass of compact off-roaders. So a cold latte actually stays ice-cold in the summer, and a take-away burger arrives piping hot on the table.

However, it has a drivetrain and, above all, batteries that are more than competitive – especially if the price starts at well under 70,000 BGN. The electric motor in the front mobilizes 204 or 224 hp and allows a maximum speed of at least 180 km/h, and the battery in the floor of the car has lithium-ion cells with a capacity of 75 kWh. and allows a range of up to 521 kilometers.
