Estafette, Goelette and Trafic: three strong names for three personalities, distinctive and at the same time complementary with their common DNA!
The three vehicles are the result of a collaboration with Flexis, an independent company founded by Renault Group, Volvo Group and CMA CGM Group. This new range of fully electric E-Tech vans has been developed to meet a full range of business customer requirements.
Built on the new skateboard platform and SDV architecture, these compact, spacious and adaptable vans pave the way for customized solutions that will help customers navigate the energy and technology transition.
This new platform represents a significant advance in intelligent vehicle design, offering flexibility, ergonomics and connectivity, with almost unlimited possibilities for personalization and reduced operating costs, while ensuring high levels of safety and efficiency.
Each of the three vehicles has its own identity and is designed to meet specific needs.
Trafic E-Tech electric: modern and functional
With this fourth-generation model, Trafic writes a new chapter in a saga that began in 1980. With over 2.5 million units produced since its launch, it continues its extremely successful development.
The model features contemporary proportions and a one-box design for a clean, dynamic profile. It has a short front overhang and a long wheelbase, with wheels positioned at the corners to maximise interior space while maintaining a turning radius equivalent to that of the Renault Clio.
With a height of less than 1.90 meters, it has easy access to underground parking lots.
Its overall appearance accurately reflects Renault's new design elements with flowing, structured lines.
At the front, a central feature highlights the high-tech look of the van, showcasing an illuminated upper strip, with side daytime running lights highlighting its ultra-modern character. In the centre of the strip, an illuminated logo also catches the eye, reflecting the overall attention to detail.
In profile, the median line creates a sense of dynamism, with a subtle visual effect that enhances the impression of movement and energy even when the car is stationary.
The rear features a high body line flush with the side windows, along with strongly curved, asymmetrical hinged doors and a spoiler with deflectors to optimise aerodynamics. The rear lights gain a unique light signature, highlighted by a 3D design, which adds a distinctive and sophisticated touch to the styling.
The perception of robustness is reinforced by the underbody protection in grain black with front and rear bumpers and lower door protectors, emphasizing the impression of robustness for intensive daily use.
Goelette E-Tech electric: a functional vehicle
A historically significant Renault light commercial vehicle, the Goelette has been on the road for 10 years since 1956. Robust, solid and easy to transform, it is one of the most popular vans for fleet owners or small businesses with specific requirements.
Designed to meet a wide range of needs, the Goelette E-Tech electric is available in three versions: chassis cab, van and tipper, paving the way for a wide range of transformations.
Taking full advantage of the flexible and resourceful architecture made possible by this new generation of vehicles, the Goelette is excellently proportioned at the front up to the B-pillar, in the same way as the Trafic E-Tech electric.
The rear has no specific equipment. It is designed for an almost endless range of attachments and custom features, with structural parts that can accommodate a van or other configurations tailored to the user's specific requirements.
The rear lights are both functional and elegant and highlight the overall design of the van. Available with or without steps, the Goelette E-tech electric is a functional and modern vehicle, capable of adapting to all situations.
Estafette E-Tech electric: designed for today's cities
Estafette E-Tech electric is a modern interpretation of Renault's iconic van from the 1960s, tailored to the needs of modern urban logistics.
Over half a million vehicles bore the Estafette name between 1959 and 1980. This iconic name is a symbol of a light commercial vehicle spanning several generations.
Its design is largely inspired by the Renault Estafette concept model, presented in September 2024.
At just 5.27 m long and 1.92 m wide, this compact van is easy to drive around town. At 2.60 m high, it allows a person of 1.90 m to move easily between the cabin and the load area.
Like the Trafic E-Tech electric, it is extremely maneuverable, allowing it to navigate narrow streets and densely populated urban areas with ease.
Inspired by the design of the Trafic E-Tech electric, the Estafette E-tech electric features a large three-part panoramic windscreen for increased visibility, safety and comfort behind the wheel. The modern front end features a distinctive light signature: a light strip with perfectly aligned daytime running lights, underlining the van's high-tech identity. The Renault logo adds a discreet, elegant touch to this harmonious unity.
The Estafette E-tech electric contains features designed for business users in the city, such as a sliding side door with an invisible integrated rail for smooth opening.
Steps on both sides make it easier to get in and out of the bathtub for more ergonomic use.
At the rear, a one-piece roller door optimizes cargo space, and a stainless steel step emphasizes the robust, high-tech character of the van.
The protective elements in grainy black on the upper and lower parts of the body visually lower the body, creating a sense of modern style and dynamism. These black elements also emphasize the body's strength, providing the protection needed for intensive use in urban environments.
This new range of vehicles will be produced at the Sandoville plant in France and is scheduled to be launched in 2026. More details will be revealed in the coming months.
