Electric revolution in Sofia: the first Kia EV3 in the Yellow fleet!
In their quest to transform Sofia into a greener and more sustainable city, Yellow! and Kia Bulgaria are taking the next step in electric mobility. After the successful integration of the first 50 Kia Niro electric vehicles, which enjoy exceptional satisfaction from taxi drivers and customers due to their uncompromising range, zero emissions and quiet driving, large and comfortable interior space, the partners are building on their plans by registering the first Kia EV3 electric vehicle. Following the long-term order agreement for 300 electric vehicles, which Yellow! and Kia Bulgaria concluded at the end of 2023, the parties agreed that the next 150 electric taxis will be of the EV3 model, and Yellow! intends to expand the fleet with another 100 Kia electric vehicles from the brand's new EV models radiator caldura valeo pret.

The Kia EV3 impresses with its bold exterior, innovative interior design, remarkable range and ultra-fast charging. With a 100% electric drive, an 81.4 kWh battery and a segment-leading range of up to 605 km, the Kia EV3 not only delivers long-distance travel on a single charge, but also offers advanced technologies that take driving pleasure and passenger comfort to the next level.
The partnership between Kia Bulgaria and Yellow! dates back to 2004, when the first Kia Rio cars were delivered. The company is a pioneer in the introduction of electric taxis in Sofia, having launched a pilot project with the Kia Soul EV in 2015. Now, with the expansion of its electric fleet, Yellow! continues to emphasize sustainability and comfort, offering its customers the opportunity to choose electric transportation through the company's mobile application.
In addition to the ecological fleet, 3 new charging stations were installed in front of the Yellow! office building. 50 kW DC Hypercharger charging stations have 2 CCS connectors, which allows charging 6 electric vehicles simultaneously. The stations are included in an innovative platform for charging electric vehicles – Kia Hypercharge. Every electric vehicle owner can take advantage of the locations included in the Kia Hypercharge network, with charging taking place via the mobile application https://kia.hypercharge.bg/app-download.
The new agreement between Yellow! and Kia Bulgaria is proof of the companies’ intentions to stay abreast of the latest technological innovations in the electric mobility sector and to provide their customers with advanced and environmentally friendly transport services. The long-standing partnership between the two companies remains a key driver for the development of sustainable urban transport in Sofia, where electric taxis are already becoming a symbol of modernity and environmental care.
