FIAT reports 62% growth in the Bulgarian market
Sofia France Auto (SFA) automotive group recorded a successful 2024 with 12.4%
market share (light and light commercial vehicles) according to traffic police data. The company is
sold a total of 6,156 new cars from the brands in its portfolio: Peugeot, Citroen,
DS Automobiles, Opel, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, FIAT, Abarth, BMW, MINI and Isuzu, and ranks among
third place in the automotive market in Bulgaria bara protectie.

The most preferred compact model of SFA is the Citroen C3, followed by the Opel Corsa and
Peugeot 208. In the SUV segment, the most sought-after are the Peugeot 2008, Opel Mokka and Peugeot 3008,
and in the premium category – BMW X5, X7 and X1. The share of electrified vehicles
The share of vehicles sold is 35%, with 84% of customers preferring hybrid models, the most popular of which are the Peugeot 3008, 208 and 5008. In terms of fully electric cars, the company is in second place in sales in the country with a 13.7% market share, with its most popular electric vehicle being the Opel Corsa Electric, followed by the Peugeot 3008, 2008, 208 and the BMW i4.
The highest growth in the company's product mix was reported by FIAT – 62% (light and
light trucks), with this value reaching 80% only for light truck models.
The performance in this segment of all SFA brands in total marks a remarkable
growth compared to 2023 – 33.5% or 395 more cars. The most sought after of them are Peugeot
Partner, Citroen Jumper, Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Boxer and the Isuzu D-Max pickup truck, whose new
model has recently been offered in Bulgaria. SFA is a leader in the segment of fully electric
vans with a 46.3% share (44 out of a total of 95 sales), with Citroen being No. 1 in the sector for Bulgaria,
and the most desired by customers is the Citroen e-Berlingo.
The BMW and MINI dealer - "Auto Bavaria", which is also part of the SFA structure,
celebrated its 20th birthday in 2024 and reported record high results – 680
new cars sold, which is an increase of 14.5%, and 230 motorcycles (28.5% more
compared to 2023). For another year, the company achieved 100% customer satisfaction
for its commercial activity (5 times in the last 6 years), measured by an independent
agency.
SFA Retail also reported a high result from an external survey on the quality of services
dealerships, with every 9 out of 10 of their customers surveyed saying they would recommend their services.
