First photos of the new Audi A6 Avant

Audi presented a teaser, but footage of the entire car appeared on YouTube: less than a week before the official world premiere of the new Audi A6 Avant, a photo of the car without camouflage "leaked" onto the Interne pivot delphi pret.

First photos of the new Audi A6 Avant

Audi is set to officially unveil the new A6 Avant on March 4, 2025, but photos of the station wagon without disguise have already been leaked online. They were featured in two videos from the YouTube channel KondorCars. The clips show the S-Line of the A6 Avant – and we can immediately conclude that the internal combustion engine version looks more like a larger Audi A5 than its electric sibling, the A6.

Of course, this is not official footage – and although it looks authentic, we will only be able to draw any valid conclusions when we receive the materials directly from the manufacturer in a week.

In any case, it is clear that the internal combustion engine version, which is launched after the electric one, will also be called A6. Initially, the ICE modification was supposed to be called A7, but this change was met with such resistance from fans and customers that the people at Audi eventually gave up. Now both the conventional and electric versions are placed together under the name A6, with the electric A6 carrying the additional designation “e-tron”.

The A6 will look like a larger A5

And yet, whoever thought that the A6 Avant with an internal combustion engine would be as close as possible to that of the “electric” vision was wrong. First – because the station wagon is reminiscent of the A5. The similarity is most noticeable in the structured radiator grille, the headlights, the general shape of the body and the continuous light strip at the rear, which will be even more delicate in the A6 Avant.

If you want to imagine the base model of the A6 Avant, you have to imagine smaller wheels and remove the red brake calipers. Also, the logo of the base model will probably not be black. It is not yet known when the new A6 sedan will be introduced.

Audi has not yet commented on the engine range. It is only known that all types of drives will be available - gasoline (mild hybrid), diesel and plug-in hybrid (RS 6). Prices are also not yet clear: but it is unlikely that the next Audi A6 Avant will cost less than 120 thousand leva.
