Alfa Romeo Junior debuted almost simultaneously in Paris and Sofia
Alfa Romeo returns to the Paris and Sofia motor shows with its entire product range and exciting premieres that radiate the typical charm of the Italian brand with over a century of history magazin piese auto online.
In an effort to offer all possibilities to its customers, Alfa Romeo now offers the full range of drive options – from classic diesel and petrol engines, through mild and plug-in hybrids to fully electric drive. This is the message that the brand is sending this week from the exhibition in the French capital and which will captivate the visitors of the Sofia Motor Show in the coming days.
In the spotlight is the new Alfa Romeo Junior, the model that marks the return of the global brand to the fastest growing and mass market segment in Europe. With the Junior, the legendary Italian brand aims both to meet the desires of the Alfa fans for a compact car and to win new young admirers.
The Junior is an attractive city car that offers a provocative design inspired by the history of the brand, combined with the needs of consumers today. Responding fully to trends in the industry, Junior debuted with two drive options – with an electric motor and in a hybrid version. At the Alfa Romeo stand in Sofia, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the Junior Speciale Elettrica in the brand's classic Glorious Red color and be among the first in Europe to test drive the Junior Speciale Ibrida.
The Elettrica version impresses with an aggressive exterior design with the distinctive Progresso grille, with 156 hp. and first-class interior with exclusive solutions. Junior Elettrica synthesizes sportiness, technology and comfort in the form of a compact SUV.
The hybrid version, which is one of the premieres in Paris, relies on the 1.2-liter Miller cycle engine with variable geometry turbo and timing chain for maximum reliability. The electrical component consists of a 48-volt lithium-ion battery and a 21-kW electric motor integrated into the innovative 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which works together with the inverter and transmission control unit to ensure maximum efficiency. When driving around town, Junior Ibrida offers extremely smooth driving in electric mode more than 50% of the time. Electric driving is guaranteed not only during parking maneuvers or at low speeds in urban conditions, but also outside the city with a limited load of up to 150 km/h. Also available for order is the Veloce Elettrica variant, which stands out with a new 280 hp electric motor, the fourth generation TorSen “D” mechanical limited-slip differential, 25 mm lowered suspension, sports stabilizer bars, 20” wheels with sports tires, 380mm discs up front with 4-piston monobloc calipers, 14.6:1 direct steering and 50:50 weight distribution. Prices for the Junior Ibrida start from BGN 60,990, and for the Junior Elettrica - from BGN 80,180. The top model Junior Elettrica Veloce 280 is available for BGN 97,495.
The Giulia and Tonale will appear in the 2024 limited edition Tributo Italiano, which impresses with very fine details reminiscent of the cars' origins and the Italians' love of design. The line is available in three colors (green, white and red), with contrasting black detailing on the exterior and special embroidery on the headrests of the front seats.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia will be presented with a classic 2.2 liter diesel engine with 210 hp, combined with the four-wheel drive Q4. In this configuration, the beautiful sedan provides maximum comfort without compromising on the sporty feel even on a long journey.
Tonale will also delight visitors with a Q4 version, thanks to the plug-in hybrid drive with which the model will debut at the Sofia Motor Show. A power of 280 hp, an exclusive design and a stylish presence are among the distinguishing features of the compact premium SUV.
Last but not least is the Stelvio. Especially for the salon in Sofia, the large SUV of the brand comes in the Quadrifoglio version with the excellent 2.9 l V6 gasoline engine with 520 hp. and very rich equipment, including 21" QV wheels, Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes, Akrapovic premium exhaust system and Sparco carbon sports seats in a combination of leather and Alcantara. The fastest production model in the brand's range (0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds) offers Q4 four-wheel drive, Race mode, active AlfaLink suspension, limited-slip differential, perfect weight distribution and a memorable driving experience piloting Baterie auto EXIDE.
Alfa Romeo has one more surprise for the Sofia Automobile Salon - until November 20, all cars in stock from the Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio models will be offered in addition to a 5-year warranty and 5-year Alfa Romeo Road Assistance, and with a free service for 5 years or 150,000 km. The offer is complemented by the special fixed interest rate of 3.5% when purchasing a lease, valid until the end of the year. When visiting the Alfa Romeo stand, fans will have the opportunity to feel the authentic spirit of the brand and will be able to purchase original accessories at preferential prices.
