Half a ton of the new Opel Grandland is made from recycled materials
Opel's new SUVs feature up to 95% reusable materials and 85% recyclable material compresor clima denso pret.

The new Opel Grandland, Opel Frontera and Opel Mokka inspire with an impressive, bold and stylish design, free from unnecessary elements, intelligent innovative technologies and an interior that guarantees complete driving pleasure and comfort. Opel's SUV trio sets new standards in terms of resource conservation and environmental protection, demonstrating the company's "green approach". The models are free of chrome elements and design applications on the body, and the interior uses fabrics and upholstery made from materials with a recycled content. The Opel Grandland, as well as the Frontera and Mokka, consist of up to 95 percent reusable materials and 85 percent recyclable.
The electrified drive portfolio of the three models ensures that customers can drive in a resource-saving and locally emission-free way, enjoying the pleasure of driving, but combined with a sense of responsibility. To further accelerate and support the adoption of electric mobility, Opel is making the transition even easier and more affordable with its new “Electric All In” program.
Impressive design: illuminated lettering in place of chrome elements
Opel's new SUV models make a statement about the company's commitment to resource conservation. In their clear and specific expression of Opel's design philosophy, they do away with the familiar chrome elements on the exterior, which are replaced by illuminated lettering and elements. The Opel Blitz emblem is located in the center of the distinctive Opel Vizor brand face, and the model name is written on the rear of the vehicle.
The company's commitment to sustainable mobility is also implemented in the lighting systems: Opel developers are focused on conserving resources and the environment. The lighting systems, including the industry-leading Intelli-Lux HD adaptive lighting system in the Golden Steering Wheel award-winning Grandland, use only energy-saving LED headlights. In addition, the new top-of-the-range SUV is the first series model to feature the Opel Blitz lighting system and integrate it and the innovative "Edge Light" technology into the new 3D Vizor.
Comfortable and high quality: recycled materials in the interior
Even during the development of the Grandland, Frontera and Mokka models, designers and engineers focused on finding solutions to save resources and thus reduce the CO2 footprint of the brand's new SUVs. How proven travel comfort can be combined with sustainability is demonstrated, for example, by the innovative Intelli-Seats for the driver and front passenger, available in the Grandland and Frontera. Comfort is ensured by a recess in the middle of the seat, which helps to relieve strain on the tailbone during long drives. The brand's new models provide driving pleasure and at the same time provide peace of mind for car owners that measures have been taken to protect the environment. This is because the fabrics and surfaces of the seats, door panels, dashboards and center consoles are made from materials from recycled PET bottles. In addition, elements such as steering wheels are made from synthetic leather.
The new Mokka also features a seat cover made from ReNewKnit, a new eco-friendly material. It gives the high-quality look of suede and is made from a mono-material that reduces the CO2 footprint.
Even in parts that are not visible, the developers of the Grandland, Frontera and Mokka have paid attention to the “Green Approach” and a functioning circular economy: for example, the vehicles use processed aluminum as well as steel with recycled content together with various polymer elements. In the Grandland, these are more than 40 polymer elements that consist of up to 80 percent “green” materials. In total, more than 550 kilograms of the Grandland’s total weight is due to recycled raw materials.
